I use affiliate links at times throughout my site. When I make a recommendation of a product, theme or plugin, it’s because I’ve used it, tested it and I feel comfortable personally recommending that product. I will never recommend a product with an affiliate link unless I’ve used it personally and have real experience that I can share. The amount of money I might receive from an affiliate is tiny compared to what it costs for me to maintain hosting, quality software and plugins on my own site. It simply helps to defray my costs a tiny bit, and helps to support the vendors, and doesn’t cost you any more to use my affiliate link.
